LANCASHIRE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
PROPOSALS UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT
Proposals to re-organise inpatient mental health services in Lancashire are to be reviewed in light of the coalition government's new rules on service change in the NHS.
The proposed changes – which are the result of an extensive public consultation in 2006 – will be reviewed by all five Lancashire Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) with support from doctors and mental health clinicians.

Michelle is "Business Leader of Tomorrow"
Following a presentation and interview at the Institute of Directors in London, Michelle Lyons has been awarded the Business Leader of Tomorrow 2010 award for her role as project manager of a three year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project.
Currently hosted by NHS Blackburn with Darwen and based in the Lancashire Mental Health and Social Care Partnership Team, the KTP project has been delivered collaboratively by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and the Lancashire Mental Health and Social Care Partnership Board.

Michelle and colleagues attended the KTP awards ceremony in London on 10th March 2010, where Michelle formally received her award.
